YEEZY SEASON 6

To be fair I was never a fan of the Yeezy brand. Sure, as a music artist he is one of the best, out of this world, but as a designer? HE SUCKS.

Being completely honest, his designs are terrible, with 0 creativity and originality, not that good of quality and very expensive for what they are offering.

Paying 320$ for a plaine hoodie? A PLAIN HOODIE! Cmon are you kidding? It actually makes me laugh and think about what fashion has become. How can a pair of gray bike shorts ( that look like they have already been washed too many times) cost 240$? And more, how is it sold out? This is crazy, the fact that people are actually paying that kind of money for products like that makes me sick.

It is crazy, is money falling from the skies and I did not notice it?

Do not get me wrong, my problem is not with the amount of money they are spending but where they are spending it. I am all about supporting brands and spending money on designer pieces but they have to be worth it. Just because someone has money doesn't mean they have to spend it in pointless products. If you can get a plain t-shirt for 20$ WHY ON EARTH would you spend 200$?

In my point of view, Yeezy is just a joke. I doubt you will ever hear " OH MY GOD, this brand keeps surprising me". This is because you can find all of their clothes in your nearest Primark. BE SMART KIDS.

In fact, the only thing that I admire (and I really admire) in Yeezy Seasons is the marketing strategy. Genius. Brilliant. Phenomenal. Fantastic.

The only reason the brand remains standing (in my opinion) is the excellent work in the marketing and promotion department.

The Yeezy Season 6 campaign includes models, influencers and famous people in general in the same looks and locations as his muse, also known as, the great Kim Kardashian.

Kanye using Kim as a blueprint for his marketing campaign is GENIUS.

The truth is that she is a huge influence in social media and the reason for so many based trends.

What gives me chills is how meticulous this campaign is, how well thought it was. When you think about this, it is actually so simple! But the thing is no one has ever done it before. He just created something completely new and changed the game of fashion marketing. It is revolutionary and this is why he is a genius.

I would give him a 10/10 for his creativity but a 1/10 for his designs.

"HE TOOK THE RUNWAY TO THE SIDEWALK".
