Rupi Kaur is a Number 1 bestselling author of the New York Times. She writes mostly poetry about woman, self- love and love itself. She also illustrates her own texts.
She started drawing at the age of five when her mother handed her a paina brush and said " draw your heart out".
The author views her life as an exploration of an artistic journey.

After completing her degree in Rethoric Studies, she published her first collection of poems- Milk and Money, 2014.
This international best seller sold well over a million copies, gracing the New York Times bestseller list every week for over a year.
It has since been translated into thirty languages.
Her long awaited Second collection "The Sun and her flowers" was recently published in 2017. Through this collection she continues exploring a variety of themes like loss, trauma, healing, feminism, revolution and so on.
Rupi Kaur has been perfoming her poetry across the world and a lot of what she is thankful for is due to Instagram.
